Courtesy of one of the NASA Twitter feeds, I found a video with NASA earth scientist Melissa Dawson, who apparently came up with the process of making all those cool time lapse videos making their way across the internet. Check it out below:

Pretty bad ass stuff. The process is interesting too. Would really love to know what kind of extra data they get from the high resolution images. What else are they searching for in them?
