Politics, unfortunately, are involved in almost every aspect of a republic affecting not just who is in office but what new scientific ventures receive funding and what new ideas will even be allowed.
Happy 4th everyone. I’ve got a special Independence Day message for those who live in the United States and would like to see the freedoms we celebrate continue. After all, even the best can still be better.
